<h3><p><span class="para_space"></span>Basically the workshop in mechanical department is mean to develop the different psychomtoive skills within the students during three year of diploma course.</h3></p>
<h3><p><span class="para_space"></span> The operations to manufacture any component or product like Turning, facing, drilling, knurling, Threading, welding, fitting, carpentry, black smithy, sheet metal work such all are developed through various shops in the workshop.</h3></p>
<h3><p><span class="para_space"></span> Our workshop has established in 2009 having two separate & specious buildings named as workshop No. 1 and workshop No. 2.</h3></p>

<h3><p>In machine shop there is no. of lathe machines out of which few are belt drive and remaining are gear drive. With the help of lathe machine shop one can perform the different operations like turning, facing, surface finishing, threading, and taper turning.</h3></p>

<h3><p>It also consist vertical drilling machine, shaping machine, milling machine, bending machine etc.</p></h3>

<h3><p>It consist a wooden lathe machine, wooden cutter, grinder machine, drilling machine, jack saw, chisels , files, different saws. In this shop the operations related to wooden work like sawing, planning, grinding, marking, chiseling, hammering, and turning are taught</h3></p>
<h3><p class="main-title" style="color:yellow;"><b>• Welding shop</b></h3></p>

<h3><p>The skills of welding are developed in the students in welding shop .The welding machine safety equipments are available in welding shop. It has arc welding machine, gas welding machine, spot welding machine etc.</h3></p>
<h3><p class="main-title" style="color:yellow;"><b>• Fitting shop</b></h3></p>

<h3><p>In fitting shop the material is shaped by cutting and filing itself. It has different type’s files, hacksaw, chop saws, drilling machine, Bench vice.</h3></p>
<h3><p class="main-title" style="color:yellow;"><b>• Sheet metal shop:</b></h3></p>
<h3><p><span class="para_space"></span> The operations like, Bending punching, Riveting, cutting of sheets are taught to the students in this shop. It has bending machine, punching machine, and Riveting machine. Etc.</h3></p>
<h3><p class="main-title" style="color:yellow;"><b>• Black smithy shop:</b></h3></p>
<h3><p><span class="para_space"></span> The material is heated at particular temperature & then it is hammer to a fine shape with the help of tong, hammer and Anvil. Such hot working processes are carried in Smithy shop.</h3></p>
<h3><p><span class="para_space"></span> It also consists of furnace, different types of hammers, different types of tongs, and anvils etc.</h3></p>
<h3><p class="main-title" style="color:yellow;"><b>• Plumbing shop:</b></h3></p>
<h3><p><span class="para_space"></span> The different joints of pipes, likes elbows, T joint, straight joint, Plus joint have to prepare in plumbing shops. It consist different types of plumbing tools like Bench vices, Pipe wrench, Pipe bending machine, pipe threading vice. </h3></p>
