The English Department of Union Education Society’s Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Solapur was established in 1991. The Department has one Full-Time teacher and 2 CHB Teachers. The Department offers Special English Course at B.A. The Department runs a Short Term Course for Spoken English and Remedial Course for B.A. I , B.A. II & B.A. III students and Bridge Course for B.A. I students. The Department runs a Add-on Course on Content Writing and Editing in English Language prescribed by P. A. H. Solapur University, Solapur. The college library has a collection of Books pertaining to English language and literature, Classic and Modern English text books, Jounrals and reference books. The Department conducts various competitions  such as class seminars , Essay Writing, Elocution and Quiz Competitions. The Department organizes various Guest lectures of eminent scholars on Literature, Soft Skills and Career Opportunities to update both the teachers and students knowledge. It organizes One Day Workshops on IPR and Professional Ethics. The Department organizes State Level Seminar and National Level Webinar on Gender Equality.
